We are so excited to share that one half of our Lead Planning team has recently gotten engaged! Last month, Cassey’s now-fiance proposed after the two checked out Elbow Falls just outside Calgary in Kananaskis Country. It was a gorgeous day made even better with this surprise – the sun was shining and the bubbly was flowing!

Working to bring her clients’ weddings to fruition has made Cassey even more excited to embark on her own wedding planning journey. Like each of the weddings we have had the pleasure of working on, and are continuing to work on, we can’t wait to see this one come to life and celebrate.

Now, it wouldn’t be a CNC engagement without a little planning and design. Cassey’s fiance teamed up with Chloe to round up some of our favourite vendors for the proposal. Big thanks to Radical Gentlemen for capturing the moment, as well as Creative Edge Flowers and Orange Trunk Vintage Styling + Rentals for helping to set the scene with beautiful arrangements and styling pieces. After she said “YES!” Cassey and her fiance’s day got even sweeter with some treats from Bake My Day. Once again, thank you to these vendors for making this moment truly special and unforgettable!

Naturally, here at CNC, we love engagements. Popping the question is such a special moment, and the way it’s done says so much about the couple! And hey, it means there’s a new wedding to plan. In fact, we love engagements so much that we have something very exciting in the works – more details to come on that soon!
